Stanford University’s Residential & Dining Enterprises is seeking staff for front-line customer service in food service. The role is designated for the Academic Year with varying shifts and requires adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include serving customers, operating POS, handling deliveries, and maintaining clean work areas. California Food Handler training may be required within 90 days and relevant licenses if delivering.

Qualificações

• Must be able to understand and communicate in English to follow directions, read safety guidelines, and communicate with customers.
• Ability to utilize computerized ordering systems and read orders.
• Ability to obtain and maintain California Food Handler Training Certificate.

Responsabilidades

• Operates cash register and point of sale systems per department policy.
• Serves customers, responds to inquiries, and resolves basic issues.
• Maintains cleanliness of assigned work areas, including floors and surfaces.
• Checks supplies and notifies supervisor of shortages; restocks items.
• Prepares beverages and assembles/serves cold foods.
• Washes dishes and pots; handles kitchen cleanup.
