Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital is seeking an entry-level Food & Nutrition Associate to support patient meals, cafeteria service, and catering operations. The role includes dishwashing, food preparation, stocking, and customer service in a fast-paced hospital kitchen.

Responsibilities include cash register duties, FIFO inventory, and adherence to safety and food-handling policies. This position offers the opportunity to grow within a compassionate, community-focused provider.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; preferred.
• Experience in commercial food service preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to obtain Food Handler certificate after hire.

Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital is a Critical Access Hospital, stand-alone, not-for-profit hospital located in Ste. Genevieve, MO that focuses on personalized care. Requirements

What to expect as a Food & Nutrition Associate:

• Position is entry-level duties, which includes washing dishes, pots and pans, clean work areas, equipment, floors and other duties as assigned.
• Food prep, serving, and delivery for patients, cafeteria and catering. Run cash register.
• Stock kitchen, cafeteria and patient areas. Put away deliveries of food and supplies using FIFO rotation.
• Provide excellent customer service, promote teamwork with great communication (both orally and written).
• Multi-task in a fast-paced commercial kitchen.
• Learn and follow policies and procedures to meet department standards.
• Practice safe food handling.
• Perform heavy physical work throughout shift.

Qualifications:

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Commercial Food Service experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills for education.
• Ability to obtain Food Handler certificate after hired is required.
