Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital is seeking a CNA/Unit Clerk for the Med Surg unit. This full-time role combines bedside patient care with front-desk unit clerk duties in a Critical Access Hospital setting in Ste.

Genevieve, MO. The position emphasizes compassionate, accurate communication, basic clinical skills, and reliable teamwork to support patient flow and safety. Responsibilities include taking vital signs and assisting with ADLs, handling the phone system, and supporting nursing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification required.
• Excellent customer service, phone etiquette, and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care duties including ADL tasks.
• Take vitals, pulse oximetry, and weigh patients; report abnormal readings.
• Assemble treatment equipment and assist the nurse with procedures.
• Multi-task effectively with professional etiquette.
• Use basic medical terminology accurately.
• Manage the phone system and demonstrate good computer skills.
• Interpret basic arrhythmias.
• Monitor and surveil arrhythmias on monitored patients.

CNA/UNIT CLERK – Med Surg – FULL -TIME

Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital is a Critical Access Hospital, stand‑alone, not‑for‑profit hospital located in Ste. Genevieve, MO that focuses on personalized care. What to expect as a CNA/Unit Clerk:
