Job summary

Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation is hiring a Food Service Aide for the Chester, NJ location. The role covers patient meal service, dining room and dish room duties, and supports food preparation and clean-up across shifts. Compensation reflects experience and includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Full-time schedule 11am-7pm with weekday and weekend shifts. Join a dedicated team delivering high-quality patient care in a rehabilitation setting.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous healthcare food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• You will perform a variety of patient food services, dining room services, and dish room services.
• You will be an integral part of the food preparations, serving of the prepared food to patients, families, staff, and visitors, and assisting in clean up.
• Providing quality work, showing knowledge of the job, and good decision-making.
• Being timely and efficient when preparing food.
• Providing high-quality food preparation and service.
• Completing all procedures scheduled during the shift without compromising the quality of work.
• Volunteering to help in other areas of the kitchen when necessary.
• Demonstrating reliability and dependability in your work.
• Operating equipment and performing related duties in a safe manner

Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation Position: Food Service Aide (FSA) / Dietary Aide Location: 201 Pleasant Hill, Chester NJ Schedule: Full-Time 11AM-7PM, (Includes Weekday & Weekend Shifts)

Compensation: $18.75 - $23.79 (Based on Experience)
