THE FORUM in California is seeking a friendly Dining Room Server to join our culinary team. This full-time role performs front-of-house serving duties in our senior-focused community, with weekend availability required.

You will deliver courteous service, maintain cleanliness, and help ensure an inviting dining experience for residents and guests. We offer competitive benefits and a supportive, mission-driven workplace.

Qualifications

• Minimum completion of sophomore year in high school required.
• Experience in food service work preferred.
• Experience in working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization according to community standards.
• Adhere to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards.
• Uphold dining room appearance and presentation standards.
• Set tables, maintain workstations, take orders, deliver items politely, and answer menu questions.
• Serve customers with proper etiquette and create an inviting dining atmosphere.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Dining Room Server:

• Always exemplify Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
• Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards always.
• Exhibit dining room appearance and presentation standards always.
• Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order. Take order, provide service and requested items both graciously and courteously. Answer pertinent questions about menu items.
• Serve customers using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere.
