Job summary

WarHorse Gaming, a division of Ho-Chunk, Inc., is seeking a Food Server in Omaha, NE. You will deliver friendly, attentive service, take orders, and help maintain a clean dining area in a fast-paced casino restaurant environment.

Positions include Day, Swing, and Grave shifts with tips. Must be 19+, have a HS diploma, and possess strong guest service and communication skills. Training and certificates may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to use smartphones, tablets, and touchscreen technology.
• Commitment to exceptional guest service and ethical conduct.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous, and professional food and beverage service to all guests.
• Greet guests upon arrival and thank them as they depart.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the point-of-sale system.
• Serve food and beverages in accordance with company standards and applicable laws.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and beverage offerings.
• Monitor guest tables throughout the dining experience and clear dishes as needed.
• Polish china, glassware, and silverware daily.
• Clean, organize, and maintain the dining area and assist with opening/closing duties.
• Record guest preferences to personalize future visits and recognize returning guests.
