Job summary

Buffalo Lodging Associates, LLC manages Hilton Garden Inn-Orlando on International Drive North. We are seeking an experienced Food Server for the Breakfast Shift, with weekend availability.

Responsibilities include taking orders, serving at the Garden Grille & Bar, and maintaining bar and dining area cleanliness. Ideal candidates bring hotel/restaurant experience, basic food and beverage knowledge, and a HS diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel food and beverage or restaurant environment experience is preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.

• Welcoming guests, taking their orders, ringing orders into the POS system, and receiving payment for the order.
• Preparing food, coffee and other beverages to meet company and brand standards, including alcohol.
• Setting up bar for service, prepare drink orders for guests, follow state and local laws for serving alcohol responsibly, complete closing duties, and ensure cleanliness of bar and cooler areas.
• Providing assistance in Food and Beverage areas including bussing, cleaning, washing dishes and utensils.

Hilton Garden Inn-Orlando/ International Drive North, 5877 American Way Orlando, FL 32819

We are currently looking for experienced Food Server to join our Team! Our Hilton Garden Inn is located just off I-4, two miles from Universal Orlando Resort. We provide scheduled free shuttle to Universal Parks. Orange County Convention Center and various corporate offices are within four miles. With 158 guest rooms, our hotel has a full service restaurant, The Garden Grille & Bar that serves breakfast, dinner, and drinks. We are home to the well-known Tiki Bar where guests enjoy Florida weather outdoors by our Fire Pit. The Hilton Garden Inn is one of the 50 hotel properties owned and managed by the award-winning hotel management company, Buffalo Lodging Associates.

Responsibilities Include

• Welcoming guests, taking their orders, ringing orders into the POS system, and receiving payment for the order.
• Preparing food, coffee and other beverages to meet company and brand standards, including alcohol. Have a full knowledge of entire menu.
• Setting up bar for service, prepare drink orders for guests, follow state and local laws for serving alcohol responsibly, complete closing duties, and ensure cleanliness of bar and cooler areas.
• Providing assistance in Food and Beverage areas including bussing, cleaning, washing dishes and utensils. resetting tables, delivering food to guests, general cleaning of food and beverage prep areas and other areas within lobby area.

This position is for the Breakfast Shift. Must be available to work weekends - as part of the schedule.

For the most success in this role, requirements are as follows:

• Previous hotel food and beverage or restaurant environment experience is preferred. Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation is a plus.
• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
