Job summary

Saint Therese at Oxbow Lake in Brooklyn Park, MN is seeking a Part-Time Culinary Aide to provide friendly meal service to residents and tenants, following menus and diet guidelines in a vibrant senior living community.

You will work evenings, support dining operations, clear tables, and collaborate with the culinary team to ensure accurate meal delivery and a positive dining experience. Prior serving or hospitality experience and good customer service are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of serving or hospitality experience
• Ability to read English and follow diet cards, menus, and production sheets
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
• Ability to meet physical demands (standing, walking, lifting trays)

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, attentive meal service to residents and tenants per menu and diet guidelines
• Serve meals accurately and efficiently to support a positive dining experience
• Clear tables, assist with dish removal, and maintain dining area cleanliness
• Support additional nutrition service duties to ensure smooth dining operations
• Follow diet cards, menus, and service instructions for accurate meal delivery
• Demonstrate professionalism and a positive attitude toward residents, families, and team members
• Work collaboratively with culinary and dining team members to support quality service

Job description

Part-Time | Culinary Aide

Current Available Shifts and Schedule:

• Evening: 4:30pm-7:30pm
• 5 shifts, 15 hours per two-week pay period
• 3 shifts, 9 hours per two-week pay period
• Schedules includes working every other weekend and every other holiday.

Pay Range:

$18.44 - $25.03 per hour (based on experience)
