Job summary

Montgomery College, Germantown Campus, is seeking a Full-time Food Security & Basic Needs Program Coordinator within the Office of Student Life. The role supports students by connecting them to essential resources and coordinating programs addressing food insecurity, emergency resources, and basic needs services.

The coordinator will build partnerships with community organizations, promote awareness, track service usage, and report outcomes to internal stakeholders and grant funders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in public health, social work, psychology, nutrition, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Three years of experience working with student support programs in higher education.
• Experience in managing, coordinating, or developing food security and basic needs programs.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and coordinate food security programming and services to meet students' basic needs.
• Oversee on-campus food pantries, emergency meal assistance, and related initiatives.
• Coordinate and build partnerships with community organizations and suppliers.
• Track utilization and prepare reports for stakeholders and grant funders.
