Job summary

Hormel Foods in Beloit, Wisconsin is seeking a Food Safety and Quality Associate Supervisor or Supervisor for 1st shift (Mon-Fri, with possible weekend work). The role trains and manages 4-6 quality auditors and partners with management to enforce food safety and quality programs in our production facility.

You will lead a hands-on team, ensure product quality, maintain sanitation procedures, and support cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Animal Science, Agricultural Business, Management, Business Administration, or a related field with a minimum 2.7 GPA preferred OR 5+ years of relevant supervisory experience
• Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
• Applicants must not now, or in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa
• Must be comfortable with the preparation and consumption of Hormel Foods products
• Must be open to relocation
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer
• Must be 18 years of age or older (all plant positions)

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct and train employees to achieve quality standards
• Manage product quality
• Creates and maintains an engaged and team-oriented workforce to improve business results
• Consults with management, providing leadership on quality and food safety in the manufacturing facility
• Oversees sanitation procedures and food safety
• This position is hands-on – Supervisors are usually in the production area about 60% of the shift
