Job summary

Hormel Foods seeks a Food Safety and Quality Associate Supervisor or Supervisor for the Dan Prize site serving Long Prairie and Browerville plants. The role supports management in implementing food safety and quality processes and trains 4–6 auditors, with a strong hands-on presence in production areas.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field (GPA 2.7 preferred) or 5+ years of supervisory experience, U.S. work authorization, and willingness to relocate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree requirement (GPA 2.7 preferred) or 5+ years supervisory experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct and train employees to achieve quality standards.
• Manage product quality.
• Create and maintain an engaged, team-oriented workforce to improve business results.
• Consult with management, providing leadership on quality and food safety in the facility.
• Oversee sanitation procedures and food safety.
• Role is very hands-on – about 60% on the production floor.
