Job summary

CJ Schwan’s in Pasadena, TX is hiring a Food Safety & Quality (FSQ) Supervisor – 2nd shift to ensure that all products are safe and wholesome and meet our high standards in a large manufacturing facility.

You will develop and implement HACCP programs, approve raw materials, monitor packaging, oversee FSQ training and audits, manage safety and regulatory compliance, and lead a team to uphold quality throughout operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years FSQ experience, with 2+ years leading or managing an FSQ team.
• Experience in food or beverage manufacturing preferred.
• HACCP Certification preferred.
• Knowledge of chemistry, microbiology, and statistical process control.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and write reports and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance across manufacturing areas and HACCP program development.
• Approve raw materials and monitor packaging quality.
• Coordinate safety, discipline, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee HACCP, GMP training and documentation.
• Conduct sanitation inspections and corrective actions.
• Monitor raw ingredient programs and reporting.
• Supervise and develop subordinates; support FSQ policies and audits.
