Job summary

PepsiCo in Fresno, CA is seeking a hands-on supervisor to lead about 25 union associates on the manufacturing floor, driving food safety and quality programs with a focus on GMP compliance, sanitation, and accurate documentation.

You will coach employees, resolve operational challenges, and partner with cross-functional teams to sustain high safety and quality standards, with a flexible second or third shift depending on business needs.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead a team of ~25 union associates on the manufacturing floor.
• Experience driving food safety and quality programs (GMP, sanitation, recordkeeping).
• Strong coaching, feedback, and employee development capabilities.
• Ability to adapt to second or third shift based on business needs.
• Require valid driver’s license and safe driving history.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 25 union associates, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Drive execution of food safety and quality programs on the manufacturing floor, including GMP compliance and documentation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Operations, Sanitation, and Maintenance to solve day-to-day challenges.
• Motivate the team to meet short- and long-term performance goals while upholding safety and quality standards.
• Support regulatory audits and inspections (AIB, FDA, ISO 22000).
• Identify process improvements to strengthen efficiency and food safety execution.
