Job summary

Hormel Foods' Austin, MN flagship facility seeks a Production Supervisor/Team Leader to train and manage a 15+ person production crew on food manufacturing processes, motivate the team to achieve production and quality goals, and support continuous improvement.

The role requires working 2nd or 3rd shifts, extended hours including weekends, relocation willingness, and the ability to stay on your feet in the plant environment; compensation includes a base pay of $71,240 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA preferred.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be open to relocation and to working non-traditional hours.

Responsibilities

• Leads team members by managing and executing plant processes.
• Manages team members in attaining production and quality goals.
• Ensures resources (materials, equipment, staffing) are available to maintain production schedules.
• Supports continuous improvement to meet safety, quality, cost, and customer service goals.
