Job summary

FELFEL USA - Good Food at Work is seeking a Food Safety & Quality Manager to lead our US quality program across suppliers, production, and internal systems.

You will define specifications, uphold regulatory compliance, oversee nutritional data and allergen declarations, and drive continuous improvements in safety, shelf life, and product quality for fresh meals in NYC. Expect cross-functional collaboration, on-site leadership, and some travel.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with HACCP, SQF, FDA, USDA, and NYS regulations.
• Strong data entry and regulatory label compliance skills.
• Experience with fresh, ready-to-eat meals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily product quality and corrective actions with suppliers and kitchens.
• Collaborate with Production Team to ensure top quality and safety.
• Maintain and update nutritional data, allergen declarations, and ingredient decks.
• Lead audits of manufacturing facilities and suppliers for quality improvements.
• Explore packaging improvements with procurement to extend shelf life.
• Serve as technical expert to investigate root causes and field inquiries.
• Provide early morning or weekend coverage as production requires.
