General Mills Buffalo Plant is seeking a day-to-day Food Safety and Quality support professional to perform analytical testing, data entry, and product approvals. The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance with GMP, HACCP, and other quality procedures while collaborating with operators to protect product integrity.

You will run chemical and physical tests, interpret results, and participate in sensory panels.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1+ years QA labs or analytical testing experience.
• Strong problem-solving and proactive mindset.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Familiarity with statistical methods.

Responsabilités

• Complete analytical (chemical and physical) testing of ingredients, packaging and finished products
• Enter data into a computer-based information system
• Approve product against product specifications
• Troubleshoot out of specification product, handle hold orders and making sound risk decisions
• Partner with team leaders and operators to evaluate food safety and quality risks
• Complete internal reference material (IRM) program activities and SPC control charting and analysis
• Lead shift sensory panels to ensure product is meeting all sensory requirements
• Lead designated quality programs such as retain management, COA management, bulk pack formula auditing and packaging label verification
