Responsibilities:

• Monitor and document the production process to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
• Conduct routine inspections and quality tests on raw materials and finished products
• Identify and report potential food safety issues and deviations from established standards
• Collect and analyze product samples for the presence of harmful microorganisms or chemical contaminants
• Work closely with the production team to ensure implementation of appropriate food safety measures
• Review and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for food safety and quality assurance
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal food safety regulations
• Participate in audits carried out by internal teams or external regulatory bodies
• Train staff on proper food handling procedures to maintain a hygienic production environment
• Prepare and present quality assurance reports and documentation
  
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in food science, microbiology, or a related field preferred
• Basic technical knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
