Job summary

Gonzalez Food Products, based in Dallas, TX, is seeking an experienced Food Safety Manager to oversee our food safety and quality management initiatives. In this role, you will ensure compliance with SQF, HACCP, GMP, FDA regulations while leading training and continuous improvement efforts across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or a related field and a minimum of 2 years of experience in food manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Biology, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of food safety and quality management experience.
• Strong knowledge of SQF, HACCP, GMP, FSMA, FDA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Food Safety and Quality Management System.
• Maintain compliance with SQF, HACCP, GMP, FDA, and customer requirements.
• Conduct internal audits and food safety assessments.
• Train employees on GMPs, HACCP, and food safety practices.
