Haliburton International is seeking an QA Technician to support first article inspections and monitor line startups to ensure product specifications are met. You will assist the QA lead, observe production, and intercede when deviations occur, while reinforcing GMP practices.

Requirements include 1–2 years in food QC, a high school diploma, and preferred knowledge of GMP, SQF, GLPs, PCQI, and basic math. Strong English communication and ability to read/write are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in Quality Control in a food manufacturing facility
• High school diploma or equivalent
• A degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or Chemistry preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and e-mail
• Must have the ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English, bilingual in Spanish preferred
• HACCP and PCQI certified preferred
• Able to perform mathematical calculations including basic arithmetic
• Demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills

Responsabilités

• Oversee line startup meets all product specifications and parameters after release
• Assist in first level troubleshooting of inline detection (Metal Detector, X-Ray, Checkweigher)
• Escalate issues if inline detection systems are not operating properly
• Serve as backup for QA technician during line startup absences
• Serve as backup for QA Receiving and QA Shipping during absences
• Ensure analytical chemistry lab supplies are replenished and GLP compliant
• Collaborate with QA lead to resolve deviations from GMP and SQF standards
• Report deviations from GMP/SQF and specs to management
• Follow GMP/SQF rules and PPE requirements
• Conduct GMP inspections and ensure cleanliness and safety
