Primal Pet Foods is seeking a QA Technician to ensure food safety and product quality across all lines. You will rotate between production lines, inspect packaging and weights, collect samples, and perform hourly checks.

The role requires GMP knowledge, attention to detail, and strong communication to coordinate with QA, production, and management. Working early morning shifts and standing for long periods are involved.

Qualifikationen

• High school equivalency required; college coursework in food safety preferred.
• 1 year of experience as a quality technician or equivalent.
• Basic math and comprehension of percentages; measurements in weight.
• Ability to follow instructed procedures and solve routine problems.
• Punctuality and regular attendance are required.
• Food industry experience and GMP knowledge are a must.
• Experience with quality and food safety systems is required.

Aufgaben

• Visually inspect the packaging and coding of finished products.
• Take weights of the finished product.
• Verify product quality and collect samples from all operating lines.
• Perform hourly line checks and verify ingredients used.
• Conduct and document audits; respond to quality issues.
• Review HACCP CCPs for compliance and preventive controls.
• Communicate issues to QA, production, and management.
• Address quality/food safety problems with corrective actions.
