Job summary

Tandem Foods is seeking a Food Safety & Quality Assurance Technician to ensure product quality, GMP compliance, and adherence to BRC standards. This role supports QA and production teams in a fast-paced facility in Bloomington, CA.

Responsibilities include reviewing results, communicating findings to operators, and maintaining cleanliness and SOP adherence. Requires Spanish literacy and a HS diploma; shift is 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM with hourly pay around $19.82–$20.89.

Qualifications

• Two years of production team experience.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read & write Spanish.
• Mathematical aptitude.
• Ability to regularly use ladders and stairs.

Responsibilities

• Review results to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Provide feedback to operators and managers regarding non-conforming products and packaging.
• Communicate results according to established communication methods.
• Ensure assigned area is clean at all times following sanitation practices.
• Inform Quality and Production Manager of any food safety problems.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and job instructions.
• Take corrective actions when measures are out of specification.
• Take and document required process, quality measures.
• Meet or exceed established targets.
• Adhere to GMPs and general food safety standards.
