Job summary

Shine Foods, Inc. in Torrance, CA is seeking a diligent QC Technician to help uphold high quality in a fast-paced production line. You will monitor formulations, weights, temperatures, labeling, and traceability data, conduct inspections, and document results to ensure GMP/SOP compliance.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least 6 months of QC/QA experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently on a 2nd shift (3 p.m.–11:30 p.m.).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in QC or QA.
• Strong knowledge of quality control best practices, test procedures, and applicable standards.
• Proficient in using various quality control tools and equipment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Monitor product formulations during ingredients and filling, document lot information for traceability.
• Monitor forming processing, product identity, weights, quality, line condition and weights.
• Monitor internal temperature off the steamer, document on CCP 1B Cooking Log, ensure corrective actions when deviations occur.
• Monitor product temperature off the Spiral freezer and assess finish product quality, weights, and codes.
• Maintain and organize QA evaluation data filing system; environmental and allergen swabbing.
• Check metal detector and X-Ray before packaging; audits of CCP documentation; investigate non-conforming materials.
