Job summary

Promise Confections is seeking a Quality Control Technician for our Kent, WA facility to ensure products meet safety and quality standards. You will conduct inspections, run tests, and maintain accurate records to support SQF and GMP programs.

The role requires 1–2 years in quality control or food safety, with strong attention to detail and excellent communication. The position is full-time, with competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or certificate in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field preferred.
• 1–2 years of quality control or food safety experience, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Knowledge of SQF, HACCP, and GMPs is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures meticulously.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods per established standards.
• Check in ingredients and packaging per approved supplier and receiving procedures.
• Perform routine inspections of equipment, processes, and packaging to ensure SQF and internal standards compliance.
• Document and maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and findings.
