Amazon Inc. is seeking an innovative Associate Corporate Counsel for Food Safety Compliance to support the Food Safety Operations team in North America.

You will counsel on legal and business requirements for private label products, online grocery, and health and wellness categories, helping to build scalable food safety tech solutions across online and in-store channels. You will engage regulators like FDA/USDA and work at the intersection of law, technology, and operations, shaping safety

Competenze

• 3+ years of legal experience.
• Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent.
• Knowledge of AI ethics in legal context: confidentiality, accuracy, bias prevention.
• Experience managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.

Mansioni

• Providing day-to-day advice to Food Safety Operations on regulations governing transport and sale of food (farm to fork) including labeling, recalls, allergens, and permitting.
• Monitoring regulatory changes and maintaining existing compliance processes.
• Providing legal advice on design of safety mechanisms and tech tools including recalls impact.
• Advising on internal processes to support food safety governance requirements.
• Engagement with regulators such as FDA, USDA, Health Canada and health departments at state/local levels.
