Job summary

UNFI is seeking a FSQA Partner to lead food safety, sanitation, and pest control compliance within Distribution Center operations in the United States. You will collaborate with DC leadership to ensure policies, audits, and training are understood and followed, supporting regulatory certifications and a strong safety culture.

The role requires an Associate degree in a related field, experience with FDA FSMA and GFSI schemes, and strong communication and training skills to influence teams across

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Biology, Food Science, Public Health, Environmental Science or related field required
• HACCP, Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI), and/or SQF Practitioner certifications highly desired

Responsibilities

• Coordinate food safety, sanitation, and pest control compliance
• Ensure regulatory standards are met by third-party providers
• Conduct food safety assessments at DC locations and third-party sites
• Review findings with DC leadership and drive corrective actions
• Maintain compliance with FDA FSMA, SQF and other schemes
• Provide food safety training to operations and partners
• Lead development and implementation of recalls, safety programs, and defenses
