Job summary

Zuma Restaurants in Boston is seeking a Food Runner/Server Support to help deliver a smooth dining experience. You will assist the server team, coordinate with kitchen and bar, and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages. This role requires a genuine passion for hospitality and strong teamwork.

Must have restaurant experience and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Compensation is $6.75 per hour plus tips, with opportunities for growth within Zuma’s globally renowned brand.

Main Duties

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assist servers in setting up and clearing tables, including arranging table settings, refilling water glasses, and removing used dishes and utensils
• Provide timely and attentive support to servers during service periods, including delivering food and beverage orders to tables, checking on guest satisfaction, and addressing any guest requests or concerns
• Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to coordinate the timing of food and beverage service, ensuring that orders are prepared and delivered accurately and efficiently
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including cleaning and sanitizing tables, chairs, and other surfaces, as well as sweeping and mopping floors
• Monitor and replenish supplies, such as napkins, utensils, condiments, and beverages, to ensure that servers have everything they need to provide excellent service to guests
• Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to relay guest feedback, special requests, and other relevant information, contributing to the overall success of the service team
