Zuma is a contemporary Japanese restaurant collection with venues in North America, including a Boston location. As a Zuma Polisher/Floor Assistant, you will support service and kitchen teams by polishing utensils, cleaning spills, and replenishing supplies to ensure smooth guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience as Host or similar role in a luxury high-volume restaurant.
• Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Naturally friendly, customer-oriented, and able to create memorable dining experiences.
• Previous experience in Stock Polisher or a similar role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all glassware is polished and returned to service stations and bars.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas, keeping areas clean and organized.
• Replenish supplies such as napkins, condiments, and utensils to keep tables stocked.
• Monitor restaurant floor cleanliness and promptly address spills to maintain safety.

As a Zuma Polisher/Floor Assistant, you are responsible for supporting the service and kitchen teams with smooth operation of the restaurant by assisting with various tasks, including polishing utensils, cleaning spills, and replenishing supplies.

Main Duties

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Ensure all glassware is perfectly polished and returned to service stations and bars, maintaining a clean and polished appearance
• Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas, ensuring they are clean and well-organized
• Replenish supplies, such as napkins, condiments, and utensils, as needed to ensure that all tables are properly set and stocked for guest service
• Monitor the cleanliness of the restaurant floor and promptly address any spills or messes to prevent slip hazards and maintain a safe environment for guests and staff
