Pechanga Resort Casino is seeking a Food Runner to ensure accurate and attractive presentation of all food orders and to coordinate timing between kitchen and dining staff. You will support team goals and uphold safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes guest service, attention to detail, and reliable teamwork across shifts, including weekends and holidays. Training will cover health, safety, and outlet policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Six months of experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred.
• Gaming License required.
• Food Handlers Certified.
• Tips Certified.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests professionally and meet their needs.
• Coordinate food orders between kitchen and service staff for timely delivery.
• Verify plate accuracy before serving and ensure proper food presentation.
• Inspect dishes for quality, temperature, and portion standards.
• Communicate with chefs and servers to prioritize orders during peak times.
• Manage ticket times and adjust pacing based on guest needs.
• Arrange and garnish plates per outlet specifications.
• Monitor ticket queues and relay special requests to kitchen staff.
• Perform side work: restocking, cleaning, and organizing dishware.
• Maintain a clean expediter area in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
• Adhere to company policies and foster a collaborative team environment.
• Maintain a safe working environment and report unsafe conditions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
