Olympia Fields Country Club in Olympia Fields, IL is seeking a Food Runner to support the Sous Chef and the Member Dining Kitchen, delivering prepared orders to the correct tables and assisting with prep by washing, peeling and slicing ingredients.

This partial-year, seasonal role requires a can-do attitude, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment while maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor and teamwork with colleagues.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for long periods and move about the Club’s kitchens.
• Frequently lifts, carries, and pushes up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Support the Sous Chef and the Member Dining Kitchen operations.

• Prepare items for cooks by washing, peeling and slicing ingredients.
• Aide in dishwashing.

Summary

The Food Runner supports the Sous Chef and the Member Dining Kitchen operations. Responsible for assisting with garnishing, delivering prepared orders to correct tables, preparing items for cooks by washing, peeling & slicing ingredients, and aiding in dishwashing.

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Frequently lifts, carries, pulls, and pushes up to 40 lbs.

EXPECTED WORK HOURS

• This is a partial-year or seasonal position
• Daily shifts available starting as early as 6:00 am and ending as late as 9:00 pm.
• Should be open to a flexible schedule as needed based on business needs, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Overtime may be required during periods of increased member activity. When necessary, shifts may extend beyond the standard schedule, potentially exceeding 10 hours.
