Job summary

Olympia Fields Country Club is seeking a Golf Course Attendant to create a welcoming experience for members and guests on the club’s courses. You will stock beverage stations and ensure the overall cleanliness of the courses, bathrooms, and nearby facilities.

The role requires outdoor work in warm conditions, willingness to lift up to 50 lbs, and a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays during a seasonal or 8–month/6–month window from March through October.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Conversational English required.
• Comfortable working outside in a hot environment.
• Frequently lifts, carries, pulls, and pushes up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Daily setup of course beverage stations and keep stations stocked.
• Clean the course bathrooms and halfway houses.
• Monitor and empty course trash cans; pick up trash on course as needed.

SUMMARY

The Golf Course Attendant creates a welcoming and exceptional experience for the Club’s members and guests when on our Golf Courses. Responsible for stocking beverages and ensuring the overall cleanliness of the golf courses.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Daily set-up of course beverage stations. Ensures beverage stations are well-stocked throughout the day.
• Cleans the course bathrooms.
• Assists in cleaning the halfway houses.
• Monitors course trash cans and empties as needed.
• Picks up trash on course, as needed.

• Efficiently completes assigned duties.

• Must be reliable and punctual.

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• At least 16 years old.
• Conversational English.
• Comfortable working outside in a hot environment.
• Frequently lifts, carries, pulls, and pushes up to 50 lbs.

EXPECTED WORK HOURS

• This can be a partial-year (8 months) or seasonal position (6 months) from March through October.
• Full-time (32 hours) preferred.
• Varying schedule that includes weekends and holidays. Daily shifts between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm.
• Overtime may be required to meet increased membership needs.
