Job summary

Olympia Fields Country Club is seeking a Food Runner to deliver a five-star dining experience for our members and guests during private and club-hosted events. This role supports a fast-paced hospitality environment and requires a welcoming, professional presence.

Starting wages reflect a hospitality-focused team dedicated to knowledge development and excellent guest service. Shifts align with our season, offering opportunities to grow within the club’s dynamic events program.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years old.
• Conversational English.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Comfortable working in a hot and noisy environment.
• Able to stand for long periods and move about the Clubhouse/patio areas.
• Frequently lifts up to 40 lbs (60 lbs occasionally).

Responsibilities

• Provide a five-star member dining experience at private or club-hosted events.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests.
• Support event service and hospitality operations with professionalism.

Summary
The Food Runner creates a welcoming and exceptional experience for the Club’s members and guests when at the Club for a private or Club-sponsored event. Responsible for providing a five-star member dining experience and executing member and club-hosted events.

Requirements
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• At least 16 years old

• Comfortable working in a hot and noisy environment.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and move freely about the Clubhouse and patio areas.
• Frequently lifts, carries, pulls, and pushes up to 40 lbs. 60 lbs.

EXPECTED WORK HOURS

• Expected work during our season, mid-April to December
• Should be open to a flexible schedule as needed based on business needs, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Shifts start as early as 6:00 am and end as late as 2:00 am.
• Overtime may be required to meet increased membership needs. Required overtime could extend the workday to 10+ hours.
