Caesars Entertainment in Reno, NV seeks a Food Runner for full-time swing shifts at Ramsay Kitchen. You will deliver orders from kitchen to guests quickly and communicate special requests to the kitchen.
Ideal candidates have strong guest service, basic cleanliness skills, and the ability to stand/walk for extended periods. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is required. You will uphold sanitation standards and assist with clearing tables and maintaining a clean dining area.

Responsibilities of Food Runners include serving food orders to guests in a timely manner as well as keeping dining area clean. Make sure modifications are made to food items correctly and work directly with the chefs to communicate important information.
Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests’ tables and the bar quickly and accurately
Answer guests’ questions about ingredients and menu items
Protect establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation and safety policies
Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards (e.g. proper temperature)
Act as the contact point between front of the house and back of the house staff
Maintain table setting by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, being alert to guest spills or other special needs
Close dining facility by cleaning chairs and tables, sweeping and/or vacuuming floors, and removing trash and recyclables from the facility

Work may be performed in an area, which may be unusually noisy and crowded

GUEST SERVICE (INTERNAL/EXTERNAL) STANDARDS: Employee is required to meet and deliver our core values, service standards, and family style service.
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must have the ability to provide internal/ external guests with service excellence, have excellent communication skills and observation skills, and have an easygoing demeanor to ensure a fun and safe environment for our guests. Above average speech – both speaking and reading/writing English. Need excellent interpersonal skills. Work requires schedule flexibility which may include days off, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
