Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the flow of food orders between kitchen and service staff to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of the menu, ingredients, and preparation methods to accurately answer questions and ensure proper handling of dietary restrictions or allergies.
• Verify plate accuracy against order tickets, ensuring correct items, portion sizes, and presentation standards are met.
• Inspect dishes for quality, temperature, and visual appeal before serving to guests.
• Arrange and garnish plates according to outlet specifications to maintain consistency and brand standards.
• Double-check each order for completeness before leaving the kitchen, ensuring all components, condiments, and utensils are included.
• Ensure timely delivery of food to guests by navigating the dining area efficiently and prioritizing orders based on readiness and guest needs.
• Communicate effectively with chefs and servers to prioritize and expedite orders, especially during peak service periods.
• Monitor ticket queues, manage pacing of food delivery based on dining room volume and guest needs, and relay special requests or modifications to the kitchen.
• Adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment, maintaining focus and accuracy under pressure to uphold service standards.
