Ancho & Agave is hiring a Food Runner to join our team in Omaha, NE. You will help ensure smooth dining room operations and deliver a great guest experience by swiftly delivering orders and maintaining food presentation.

The role emphasizes quick communication between front and back-of-house teams, attention to safety standards, and flexibility to work weekends/evenings. Open availability and a welcoming, teamwork-focused attitude are ideal.

Qualifications

• Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Good oral communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced work environment.
• Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long hours.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers’ tables rapidly and accurately.
• Ensure highest quality of food presentation.
• Act as the point-of-contact between Front of the House and Back of the House staff.
• Communicate food orders and handle priorities and special requests like allergies.
• Ensure food safety standards and proper temperatures are maintained.
