OfCorsica NYC is seeking a friendly, energetic Runner to help deliver dishes from kitchen to dining room with precision and warmth. You will support servers, maintain station cleanliness, and ensure guests receive timely, accurate orders in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires good teamwork, clear communication, physical stamina to lift trays, and a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. You will learn the menu, allergen basics, and City Winery standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork ethic
• Ability to stay focused and organized in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Basic understanding of food handling and service etiquette
• Ability to lift and carry trays, dishes, and supplies up to 50 lbs
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsabilités

• Deliver food and beverage orders from the kitchen or bar to guests with efficiency and care
• Ensure all items are presented properly, meet quality standards, and are delivered to the correct tables
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to ensure timing, guest requests, and dietary modifications are executed correctly
• Assist servers by monitoring tables for water refills, clearing plates, resetting tables, and anticipating guest needs
• Maintain knowledge of the menu, including dish components, allergens, and appropriate table placement
• Keep service stations stocked, clean, and organized throughout the shift
• Assist in opening and closing duties as assigned, including setting up dining areas and breakdown of service stations
• Support the team during busy service periods with flexibility and urgency
• Follow all health and safety guidelines, including food handling and sanitation procedures
• Represent OfCorsica’s values and hospitality standards in all guest interactions
