Job summary

The ONE GROUP in Salt Lake City is seeking a Food Runner to support kitchen and service teams, ensuring food is delivered quickly, accurately, and beautifully presented. You will help maintain smooth flow from kitchen to guests and uphold high standards of quality and service.

You should be able to stand long hours, lift light loads, and work nights, weekends, and holidays, with solid basic English for guest communication. EVerify is used for employment eligibility.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift 20 lbs.
• Able to carry large trays with warm plates.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Basic English proficiency for communication.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food is delivered according to THE ONE GROUP’s quality standards.
• Possess full menu knowledge and confidently describe dishes to guests.
• Maintain awareness of table numbers, seat assignments, and floor plans for efficient service.
• Follow proper service procedures when delivering food, ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
• Offer condiments and accompaniments when appropriate.
• Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery.
• Assist servers and bussers with guest requests and overall service needs.
• Always maintain a clean and organized service area.
• Follow health and sanitation regulations to ensure food safety and cleanliness.
• Be available to assist in restaurant setup, cleaning, and general service tasks as directed by management.
