Sally’s Apizza in New Haven, CT is seeking a Food Runner/Busser to deliver an exceptional dining experience. You will support floor operations, greet guests, and ensure orders and tables are managed efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service.

The role emphasizes quick ticket-to-table turnaround, teamwork with FOH, and adherence to sanitation guidelines in a busy New Haven environment. Competitive hourly pay and tip credit are included.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills are required.
• Basic Spanish is preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide an amazing dining experience by delivering food promptly and professionally.
• Follow Sally’s Steps of Service and assist with seating, clearing, and reset of tables.
• Ensure food and pies leave the kitchen quickly and match items to orders.
• Greet tables, take care of guests, and maintain flow of traffic in dining areas.
• Perform ongoing cleaning of workstations and assist opening/closing duties.
• Support front-of-house in other duties and comply with sanitation guidelines.
• Stay focused on guest satisfaction and complete side work as assigned.
