Sally's Apizza in Newington, CT is seeking a friendly Host to welcome guests, seat them, present menus, and answer questions about the menu items, delivering warm hospitality in our dining rooms.

You will maintain an organized seating chart, communicate wait times, take reservations, assist with take-out queries, and ensure a clean, sanitary host station while upholding Sally's Steps of Service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service following Sally’s Steps of Service.
• Greet guests warmly as they arrive and set the stage for a great dining experience.
• Maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.
• Engage with guests to ensure they are comfortable while waiting.
• Communicate wait times and manage a waiting list as needed.
• Manage reservations, including bookings over the phone or in person.
• Answer phone for take-out orders and guest queries.
• Escort guests to tables, provide menus, and answer initial questions.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the menu.
• Receive and record dining reservations.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally.
• Complete side work and keep the host station clean and sanitary.
• Adhere to all company policies and sanitation guidelines.
