Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Virginia is seeking a dedicated Food Runner to support servers and ensure timely service. You will deliver meals from kitchen to guests, assist with side work, and help maintain a smooth dining operation.

Qualifications include at least 1 year in front-of-house, willingness to assist teammates, and a positive attitude. Pay starts at $7–$8 per hour plus tips, with full benefits available for eligible team members.

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking aFood Runner.In this role, you will deliver meals promptly and accurately, ensuring food quality and presentation meet expectations for our guests. You’ll assist servers, improve workflow, and help maintain a smooth and efficient dining operation.

As part of our leadership team,you’llembody our Promise toLead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences.You’llprovide friendly, responsive service to create a beyond expectation dining experience for all guests. You’ll actively participate with your team and use core values and service expectations in the Kalahari Promise daily.

Position starting as early as September.

Pay Rate - $7 - $8/Hr + Tips

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverage orders from kitchen and bar with appropriate service trays to guests in a timely manner.
• Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment.
• Be ready and willing to assist fellow associates (servers, bussers, host/hostess, food runner, and management) as situations rise.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.
