Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Sandusky, OH is seeking a Food Runner for Sortino’s Italian Kitchen to deliver friendly, responsive service and create a beyond-expectation dining experience for guests. You will participate as a team and uphold our service standards daily.

Responsibilities include taking orders, delivering meals from kitchen to table, and assisting teammates as situations arise. The role requires flexibility with shifts and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Able to lift and balance trays and busser tubs.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in the POS system, relay orders to kitchen and bar.
• Deliver food and beverage orders from kitchen and bar to guests using service trays in a timely manner.
• Be ready and willing to assist fellow associates (servers, bussers, host/hostess, management) as needed.

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Food Runner for our Sortino’s Italian Kitchen Restaurant . In this roleyou will provide friendly, responsive service to create a beyond expectation dining experience for all guests. To actively participate as a team and use core values and service expectations listed in the Kalahari Promise daily.

Key Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in the point-of-sale system which relays orders to the kitchen and bar.
• Delivery food and beverage orders from kitchen and bar with appropriate service trays to guests in a timely manner.
• Be ready and willing to assist fellow associates (servers, bussers, host/hostess, and management) as situations rise.
