Job summary

Mountain Creek is a four-season resort in Vernon, NJ, seeking a Food Runner to ensure proper delivery of all food and beverage items to guests. You will greet guests, assist staff, and maintain cleanliness across dining areas.

Ideal candidates are 16+ years old, able to carry up to 30 lb trays, and available on weekends and holidays. This on-site role supports our food operations and guest experience at Mountain Creek.

Qualifications

• Ability to carry large food trays weighing up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• 16 years or older.
• Available weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests enthusiastically and professionally while serving food selections.
• Assist cooks, waitstaff and bartenders in maintaining station stock.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining area and food stations.
• Relay food and beverages from the back of house to guests and respond to guest questions about products.

How the Food Runner works with the Team:

A Food Runner will need to ensure proper delivery of all food and beverage items to the guests

Team Member Responsibilities:

• Greet guests in an enthusiastic, professional & timely manner while serving the guests food selections in a manner that is consistent with Mountain Creeks policies and procedures, & Health Dept. Laws
• Assist cooks, waitstaff and bartenders in maintaining station stock
• Maintain cleanliness of dining area and food stations
• Relay food and beverage products from the back of the house to the guests
• Knowledgeable with the products the business unit has, to help guests with any questions or concerns

Team Member Qualifications:

• Ability to carry large food trays weighing up to 30 lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• 16 years or older
