Job summary

Great American Restaurants is hiring a Food Runner to join our award-winning group of 14 restaurants in the Northern Virginia area. You will deliver food to guests, support kitchen operations, and help ensure an exceptionally distinctive dining experience.

Earn $18+ per hour with benefits including health insurance, PTO, and a 401K plan based on eligibility. This on-site role offers opportunities for growth in a high-volume setting and paid training.

Qualifications

• Experience in dining/hospitality environments.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to guests promptly and courteously.
• Assist kitchen operations and ensure food quality on exit.
• Maintain knowledge of menu and daily specials.

Our Food Runners are dedicated professionals who work as a team to bring our amazing food from the grill to the guests and provide them with an exceptionally distinctive dining experience!

Food Runners earn $18+ per hour

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Providing excellent hospitality and a one-of-a-kind dining experience to our guests
• Delivering all food orders to guests in a timely and gracious manner
• Providing support for kitchen operations and being the final set of eyes on food as it leaves the kitchen
• Following recipe and presentation guidelines to meet or exceed guest’s expectations
• Having outstanding menu knowledge
