Job summary

Toca Madera Scottsdale is seeking a Food Runner to help deliver hot dishes from the kitchen to guests, maintain smooth flow between front of house and kitchen, and assist servers as needed. You will help guests enjoy a high‑quality dining experience with timely, accurate service.

The role requires at least 6 months of similar experience in fine dining or full‑service environments, good English communication, and the ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of similar experience in a fine dining restaurant or full-service environment.
• Able to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for the duration of shifts.

Food Runners are responsible for controlling the flow of food in and out of the kitchen and maintaining clear communication between the kitchen and front of house team. Additional responsibilities include setting tables, serving food orders and removing used dishes and utensils. Runners must have extensive menu knowledge to be able to correctly name each dish (including modifications) as it is delivered to a table. Ultimately, you will ensure our guests have a high-quality dining experience by serving their food in a timely and accurate manner.
