Ludico is an exciting new restaurant concept from Tribeca Hospitality Group, bringing together fresh, vibrant, and transportive European flavors in an elevated yet approachable dining experience.

We are seeking experienced, polished Food Runners with a passion for hospitality and fine dining. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of upscale service and thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. As a Food Runner, you will help deliver exceptional guest experiences, support the flow of service, and contribute to a positive, team-focused dining room environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food from the kitchen to tables accurately, efficiently, and with proper presentation.
• Ensure food items are complete, properly prepared, and presented according to standards before serving.
• Communicate effectively between the kitchen and front-of-house team.
• Support servers by refilling water, clearing plates, and attending to guest needs as directed.
• Understand and articulate menu items, specials, ingredients, and preparations.
• Maintain knowledge of table numbers, station layout, and service flow.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining room and service areas.
• Complete side work duties as assigned.
• Follow all company service standards, Department of Health regulations, and workplace safety guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Food Runner in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting preferred.
• Excellent memory, attention to detail, and sense of urgency.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with both front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry heavy trays.
• Must have the ability to go up and down stairs throughout the shift.
• Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
• Professional appearance and impeccable personal hygiene.
• Basic knowledge of food service etiquette and upscale hospitality standards.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-focused mindset.
