Key Responsibilities of the Food Runner

1. Ensure all materials used by servers are clean and ready for daily operation.
2. Know the position of each diner's chair in the dining rooms and lounges.
3. Set the outside line with liner plates, flatware, doilies, linen napkins, and other items needed for food delivery.
4. Organize plates in the window and match each with its ticket to deliver food to tables.
5. Set tables according to Troon Golf standards.
6. Ensure each menu item is prepared according to the ticket specifications.
7. Coordinate with the chef to correct any menu items that do not meet specifications before delivery.
8. Replenish water glasses and remove unused place settings.
9. Clear dishes from in front of guests after each course.
10. Clear and reset tables when guests leave, including changing tablecloths, cleaning chairs, and replacing silverware, glassware, and napkins.
11. Assist servers as needed.
12. Keep workstations stocked with items and ingredients.
13. Maintain clean workstations, take out trash, and vacuum the dining room.
14. Follow safe work practices.
15. Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least one month of related experience or training.
