Immediate Openings - (Hourly rate plus tips!)

The Food Runner supports restaurant staff by delivering food and items to guests in a professional, timely, and friendly manner.

Burt & Max's Bar and Grille
9089 West Atlantic Avenue
Delray Beach, FL 33446

Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver food items ordered by guests promptly, at the correct temperature, and in a presentable manner.
  2. Arrange food on the table according to the seating plan.
  3. Clear dishes as they are consumed.
  4. Monitor tables, refill water glasses and drinks as needed.
  5. Provide friendly, attentive, and responsive service to ensure a memorable dining experience.
  6. Perform cleaning side work as assigned.
  7. Complete all required service paperwork.
  8. Support waitstaff and kitchen staff in other duties as needed.
  9. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Physical ability to balance while walking briskly with trays.
  • Previous restaurant experience preferred.
  • High energy and stamina.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure.
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to read menus and safety documents.
  • Proficiency with POS systems.
