We are seeking a dedicated Food Runner to join our team at Fisher Island Club, a luxurious resort offering breathtaking views and world-class amenities. If you have experience in F&B and a passion for hospitality, this full-time position might be perfect for you.

Position Overview: The Food Runner ensures prompt, polite service to members and guests, acting as a liaison between the kitchen and servers. Responsibilities include carrying food trays, preparing service stations, clearing tables, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in dining and banquet areas.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist servers and ensure all service stations are stocked and ready.
  • Serve hot food promptly and accurately match food items to orders.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and dining areas.
  • Assist with banquet setup, teardown, and ensuring all functions meet specifications.
  • Report any issues or complaints to management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the dining service.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • At least six months of experience in a similar dining environment.
  • Knowledge of safety practices and ability to perform roles during emergencies.
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol, with food safety and alcohol certifications.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in hot, humid, noisy environments.
