Our Food Runners play a crucial role in ensuring seamless service by delivering dishes accurately and efficiently while maintaining the highest level of hospitality. The Food Runner is responsible for assisting servers and captains in delivering food to guests, explaining dishes when needed, and maintaining the overall flow of the dining experience. This role requires speed, attention to detail, and a strong team-player mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup of the dining room, ensuring tables, utensils, and service stations are properly arranged.
• Deliver food from the kitchen to guests with efficiency, precision, and professionalism.
• Explain dishes to guests when required, ensuring accuracy in presentation and ingredients.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including service stations and the dining area.
• Support servers by clearing and resetting tables, refilling water glasses, and replacing silverware as needed.
• Ensure food is delivered at the correct temperature and presented according to restaurant standards.
• Monitor guests' needs and communicate with the service team to anticipate requests.
• Assist in preparing non-alcoholic beverages, coffee, and tea for guests.
• Maintain awareness of food allergies and dietary restrictions, ensuring safe and accurate service.
• Participate in pre-service and post-service tasks, including inventory checks and cleaning duties.
