Job summary

Curio Collection by Hilton in Houston is seeking a Food Runner to help deliver food accurately and promptly, supporting a seamless dining experience across our luxury hotel. You will engage with guests and team members to uphold the highest standards of service.

The role involves coordinating with servers and the culinary team, assisting with room service and in-room dining, and maintaining clean, organized service areas while following safety and sanitation protocols.

Qualifications

The Food Runner is responsible for delivering food orders accurately, efficiently, and professionally while supporting a seamless dining experience throughout our luxury Curio Collection by Hilton property.

Key responsibilities include delivering food from the kitchen to restaurant guests, verifying order accuracy and presentation, coordinating with Servers and Culinary team members, and ensuring food is delivered promptly and according to established service standards.

The Food Runner will also support Room Service/In-Room Dining operations by preparing and organizing trays and carts, verifying orders for accuracy and completeness, delivering food and beverage orders to guest rooms, and presenting orders professionally while providing warm and personalized service.

Additional responsibilities include retrieving used room service trays and carts from guest floors, clearing service items, restocking supplies, maintaining clean and organized service areas, and following all food safety and sanitation standards.

The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, organized, and able to move efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail . Previous restaurant, hotel, food runner, or in-room dining experience is preferred but not required.

This is a physically active position requiring frequent standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling. Schedule flexibility, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, may be required.
