Job summary

Rosa Mexicano is seeking a Food Runner to join our vibrant team in a fast-paced dining environment. You will welcome guests with genuine hospitality, support the dining room and kitchen, and help ensure every guest experiences the best of our culinary service.

Ideal candidates bring 1 year of guest service experience, the ability to multitask, and the stamina to stand through shifts. This part-time role offers tips and dining discounts as part of the compensation package.

Qualifications

• Guest Service Experience – 1 Year preferred.
• Ability to multitask while staying organized.
• Ability to stand on your feet through a shift.
• High School Degree or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Warm Latin hospitality: welcome every guest like they’re entering your home.
• Serve up the best part of the guest experience – the culinary experience.
• Follow our Service Steps as outlined.
• Double check each dish at Expo for accuracy, special requests and timing.
• Garnish and finish every plate before it leaves the kitchen, following our recipe specs.
• Move with purpose and positivity, staying calm and focused during rushes.
• Ensure food arrives promptly, presented by seat numbers, and at the right temperature.
• Maintain health and sanitation standards.
• Act as the link between dining room and kitchen, communicating effectively.
• Keep expo area clean, organized, and fully stocked to support kitchen flow.
• Quickly clean and turnover tables to maintain dining room efficiency.
• Handle glassware, silverware, and plateware with care.
• Participate in pre-shifts, trainings, and team meetings.

• Quickly clean and turnover tables to maintain dining room efficiency.
• Handle glassware, silverware, and plateware with care.
• Participate in pre-shifts, trainings, and team meetings — because we grow together.
• Work together with your teammates to keep the energy high and the service seamless — at Rosa Mexicano, teamwork is always on the menu.
